| Ethical issues International Journal of Pharma Sciences and Research (IJPSR) is committed to the timely publication of peer-reviewed articles in journals. International Journal of Pharma Sciences and Research (IJPSR) requires all authors to comply fully with current ethical standards for publication in their disciplines. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent reports of original research, and the original data must be available for review by the editor if necessary. All authors of a manuscript must have agreed to its submission and are responsible for its content, including appropriate citations and acknowledgments, and must also have agreed that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript. By submission of a manuscript to the journal, the authors guarantee that they have the authority to publish the work and that the manuscript, or one with substantially the same content, was not published previously, and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. When submitting papers for publication, it is expected that the authors will provide written assurance and describe the novelty of their work or in the approach taken in their research in a covering letter. Copyright To maintain and protect the Society’s ownership and rights and to provide scientists the opportunity to publish in high-quality journals,International Journal of Pharma Sciences and Research (IJPSR) requires the corresponding author to sign a copyright transfer agreement on behalf of all the authors. This agreement will be sent to the corresponding author when the manuscript is accepted and scheduled for publication. Unless this agreement is received, the journal will not publish the manuscript. Processing and Publication Fee and Other Charges. All authors pay no publication fees. Submission of manuscripts Authors are strongly encouraged to submit their manuscripts to be sent by e-mail to the editors-in-chief, associate editor or the public mailbox of the editorial department. Review process All manuscripts are reviewed by the editors, members of the editorial board, or qualified ad hoc reviewers through double blind peer review process. When a manuscript is submitted to the journal, it is given a number and assigned to two reviewers. The reviewers operate under strict guidelines and are expected complete their reviews quickly. Within 7 to 14 days after submission, the corresponding author will be notified of the editor’s decision to accept without change, recommended for modification, further review, or reject. When modifications are requested, the corresponding author must either submit the modified version within 2 days or withdraw the manuscript. Manuscripts that have been rejected, or withdrawn after being returned for modification, may be resubmitted if the major criticisms have been addressed. The cover letter must state that the manuscript is a resubmission, and the former manuscript number should be provided in the appropriate field on the submission form. Manuscript preparation Total pages for each manuscript should be 20 pages. If the manuscript exceeds 20 pages an additional fees is charged (refer Publication Fee and Other Charges about the fees). The manuscripts should be submitted with a cover letter declaring that the study was conducted in compliance with international, national and institutional regulations pertaining to animal experiments and clinical studies. It should also be clearly stated that the study protocol complies with a particular recommendation and was approved for use. The cover letter should explicitly state that the manuscript has not been previously published in any language anywhere and that it is not under simultaneous consideration by another journal. Authors must describe in a covering letter, when submitting papers for publication, the novelty of their work or in the approach taken in their research. It is welcomed that the brief introduction of the first author and the corresponding author sent in attached file. The manuscripts must be type-written in clear, grammatically correct English with no typographical errors. Manuscripts that do not meet the minimal requirements for English grammar and composition will be rejected immediately. Manuscripts with text that is faint or illegible or with substandard illustrations will be returned to the authors.   Neatly type every portion of the manuscript with 1 times of spacing (a minimum of 4 mm between lines) and 2.5 cm margins on all sides, including figure legends, table footnotes and references. The manuscript should be prepared and numbered consecutively as follows: Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Figure legends, Tables and Figures.   Use one font type and size throughout the manuscript. Leave one space after a comma, except in chemical names, for example, 1,2,3,4- tetramethyl. For the identification of pharmaceutical substances, the International Nonproprietary Names (INN) proposed and recommended by the WHO should be used. For the units of measurement, the use of the International System of Units (SI) is recommended: m (meter), g (gram), kg (kilogram), μg (microgram), s (second), min (minute), h (hour), d (day), y (year), l (litre), μl (microlitre), ng/ml not ng•ml-1 and r/min not rpm. Excessive abbreviations should be avoided and abbreviations other than those acknowledged, uniform and standard should be contained in brackets at their first use. Research papers New, significant, innovative and original findings are suitable as Research papers. Title page Please give the title (capital for first character), running title (not to exceed 50 characters and spaces), name of each author and an asterisk placed after the name of the corresponding author, address(es) of the institution(s) at which the work was performed, each author’s affiliation, and a footnote including the complete mailing address, a single telephone number, a single fax number, and a single e-mail address for the corresponding author. Abstract A structured abstract not exceeding 250 words should be arranged, under the following headings, in one paragraph: Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Avoid abbreviations and references, and do not include diagrams. The abstract with keywords should be typed on a separate sheet. Keywords Below the abstract, type 3-6 keywords or short phrases suitable for indexing. Introduction The introduction should not be an extensive literature review although it should provide sufficient background information for the reader to understand and evaluate the results of the present study without referring to previous publications on the same topic. Materials and methods The section should include sufficient technical information to allow the experiments to be repeated. Procedural detail that has been published previously should be referred to by citation. When a modified procedure is used, only the author's modifications of the previously published method need to be given in detail. Results and discussion Results should be described as concisely as possible in one of the following ways: text, table(s), or figure(s). Avoid extensive use of graphs to present data that might be more concisely or more comprehensively presented in the figures or tables. The number of tables and figures should be restricted to 4 and 8 respectively. The reproducibility and statistical significance of measurements, material or biological data, must be included where relevant. The discussion should provide an interpretation of the results and their significance with regard to previously published work. There should not be any significant repetition of the experimental procedures or reiteration of the introduction. Conclusion A short, paragraph summarizing the most important finding(s) of the research is required. Acknowledgments The source of any financial support, gifts, technical assistance and advice received for the work being published must be indicated in the Acknowledgments section. References Responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic citations lies entirely with authors. Citations of literature in the text must be presented in numerical order and a separate Reference List should be supplied. Type numbers in square brackets and do not use superscripts. References should include the list of authors (first name-abbreviated, last name), title of the article, Journal/Book title, (book publisher), year, volume number, issue number and page number, e.g. [1] M. F. Francis, L. Lavoie, F. M. Winnik, et al. Solubilization of cyclosporine A in dextran-g-polyethyleneglycol-alkylether polymeric micelles. Eur. J. Pharm. Biopharm., 2003, 56: 337-346.
Tables All tables must be numbered consecutively (using Arabic numerals) and be cited in the text. Titles should be short but descriptive. Each table should be on a separate sheet, together with a legend and/or footnotes identified by superscripts a, b, c, etc. Do not use vertical lines and keep horizontal rules to a minimum. In tables, the units are usually in brackets following the quantity, and the font should be Times New Roman and size of 9 pt. Please send the tables in excel. Figures Figures (photographs, drawing, diagrams and charts) are to be numbered in one consecutive series of Arabic numerals in the order in which they are cited in the text and abbreviated as Fig. X. The captions for figures should be typed on a separate sheet of paper under “Figure Legends”. The width of the figure should be about 8 cm or 16 cm (but not more than 16 cm) and in figures the font of words must be of “Times New Roman” with font size of 9 pt, which especially for the X-axis and Y-axis. For figures made in excel, the excel table should be provided.   Formula and equations Structural and chemical formula, process flow diagrams and complicated mathematical expressions should be very clearly presented. All subscripts, Greek letters and unusual characters must be identified. Structural and chemical formulae as well as process flow diagrams should be prepared in the same way as graphs. Review articles
Review articles should be about 15 pages long and contain up-to-date information providing comprehensive coverage of relevant literature. Review articles should preferably be written by scientists who have in-depth knowledge of the topic. All format requirements are similar to those applicable to Research papers. Review Articles need not be divided into sections such as Materials and methods, and Results and discussion, but should definitely have an abstract and introduction.
 Short communications
The research and technical communications section of this journal (maximum 2,500 words) is open to interesting results worthy of publication without requiring extensive introduction and discussion. It also includes preliminary data or studies that did not provide enough information for a Research paper. This section should be organized as follows: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion (combined). No more than 10 references should be provided. Tables, figures and references are to be arranged in the same way as for research papers. Brevity of presentation is essential for this section.
