Temperature stress is considered to be one of the most important stresses to which plants are exposed to under natural conditions. Numerous studies worldwide have been carried in this regard and the findings have proposed the exogenous application of various protective biomolecules for the amelioration of temperature stress. In additional to well established conventional osmoprotective biomolecules, now some non-conventional biomolecules are also being implicated in temperature tolerance. |
