Bioisosteres are major challenge to change a compound with high affinity to a biological lead in to a successful drug. It showes one approach used by the pharmaceutical chemist for the rational modification. The objective of a bioisosteric replacement is to modify a new compound with same biological properties to the original compound and improve the structure activity relationship and purity of the compound also. |
