The investigation was to standardize poly herbal churna by measuring the quality of ingredients, and the concentration of their active principles. The present work was to standardization of lab made Triphala Churna with marketed brands from JIVA, UNJHA, and BAIDYANATH. This churna is used as a laxative, antispasmodic, vermifuge, and sciatica cases. Triphala churna containing a dried fruit powder mix of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellirica, and Phyllanthus emblica. In this study the lab made Triphala churna (LTC) was standardized for organoleptic charms, physical and physico-chemical belongings. This study revealed that the LTC was found to be on par equal in standards with the brands compared. |
